Within the Heartland series, the legendary “Hama Spinning Special” was originally developed for standing on the shore and freely manipulating light rigs, down shots, jig heads, and no-sinker rigs cast long distances. Now, that iconic rod — the “Hama-Spi” — has been reimagined in a 7'2" long-length version, equipped with the latest technology and elevated to modern performance standards. That rod is the HL 722MLRSS-24.

By extending the length by 4 inches compared to the original Hama-Spi, its long-distance casting performance has been significantly enhanced. The newly designed blank offers a natural feel that doesn’t make the extended length noticeable, providing greater casting accuracy, improved lure control, and a smooth, satisfying bend when fighting fish.
