The KOHGA IC 150-C brings DAIWA CONNECTED capability to a standard tai rubber format. Its widened-tooth HYPERDRIVE DIGIGEAR, 130 mm aluminum crank handle and full-aluminum structural support deliver smooth rotation from light to heavy load.

ATD expands practical low-drag adjustment, while Synchro Level Wind and electronic drag sound support smoother line release and more assured fish control. Smartphone connectivity makes retrieve speed, fall speed and depth easier to understand and reproduce.

Electronic Drag Sound

Smooth drag, clearly communicated

Spool rotation is detected electronically, removing the resistance associated with a mechanical ratchet and pin. Three sound pitches are selectable, with an OFF setting available.

IC Counter

Read the unseen water column

The counter displays depth in 10 cm increments and supports depth alarms, retrieve and fall-speed display, LED backlight, gunwale alarm, line-break correction, line input, timer display and battery replacement.

Synchro Level Wind

Coordinated release and retrieval

The level wind travels with spool rotation during both drop and retrieve, supporting orderly line lay and smooth rig descent.

130 mm Aluminum Handle

Leverage for steady-speed winding

The long crank reduces the heavy feel associated with higher gearing and supports light, consistent winding. Power Light Knob MM grips are fitted.

User-Replaceable Battery

Return to service without a special tool

The waterproof battery cover opens with a coin and accepts a CR2032 cell. Line input remains stored when the battery is removed.
