Customs Duties and Taxes
When purchasing from overseas, your package may be subject to customs duties, VAT (Value Added Tax), or other import charges. These fees are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. Instead, they are collected directly from you by your local customs authorities or courier company at the time of delivery.
Please note that in addition to duties and VAT, your postal service or courier may also add an administrative handling fee for customs clearance.
Since rules vary by country, we strongly recommend that you check your local customs regulations before placing an order.
Important Points to Remember
Once your order has been shipped, you cannot refuse to pay import duties or decline delivery.
All prices listed on our website exclude VAT, customs duties, and local import fees.
Customs inspections are often random, meaning we cannot predict or influence whether duties will be applied to your shipment.
Country-Specific Notes
United States: Personal imports under USD 800 were previously exempt from customs taxes. However, this de minimis exemption was abolished on August 29, 2025. From that date, all shipments clearing U.S. Customs are subject to standard tariffs plus an additional 15% duty. Products containing aluminum, such as reels and spools, are subject to an extra 50% tariff.
Europe: VAT is generally charged on most imports. For example, France (20%), Germany (19%), the UK (20%), and Spain (21%). The old EU VAT exemption for packages under €22 has been removed since April 2012.
Brazil: Customs duty is 60%, plus shipping and insurance may also be taxed.

Final Note
Unfortunately, we cannot provide the exact amount of customs charges or handling fees in advance, as they depend on your local regulations, the value of your order, and the policies of your shipping company.
