BASARA is DAIWA's premium manual boat-reel platform, engineered around HYPERDRIVE DESIGN for sustained winding strength, smoothness and structural precision.

Six right- and left-hand models share a consistent 6.3 ratio and 71 cm retrieve while offering three capacity classes and method-specific handle formats.

A coordinated drive system for demanding offshore work.

HYPERDRIVE DESIGN combines DIGIGEAR, dual pinion support, a rigid housing and a salt-resistant clutch so handle input remains smooth, light and powerful under load.

A MAGSEALED ball bearing uses magnetic fluid to limit water and foreign-matter intrusion while preserving rotational performance. ATD responds smoothly to changing fish pressure and continues to track consistently through the fight.

SYNCHRO LEVEL WIND coordinates guide movement with spool rotation during both descent and retrieve, maintaining orderly line lay while supporting a smooth rig fall.
