Shimano Rinkai Limited
Shimano Rinkai Limited is the flagship model of the Rinkai series, engineered specifically for refined chinu iso fishing. Its exceptionally slim yet powerful blank combines high-performance carbon with Spiral X Core, Nano Pitch and Parabola Tune R+ to achieve high strength, low weight and a smooth progressive bending curve.
The core blank incorporates Torayca M40X high-strength, high-modulus carbon fiber, while Parabola Tune R+ minimizes abrupt stiffness changes around the joints for seamless load transfer and powerful yet supple fish control. A Total Guide Balance System uses 14 closely spaced guides, two more than the previous Rinkai Special configuration described by Shimano, allowing the line angle to follow the blank's bend more closely and improving stability during the fight.
Shimano states that the optimized guide arrangement delivers approximately 4% more power while also helping suppress excess line slack in crosswinds. X Guide components combine a titanium top guide with CI4+ guides from the #1 free section through the #3 joint area, reducing tip weight and helping preserve sensitivity and line control.
The X Seat Palm Fit Seat CI4+ II provides a secure, ergonomic grip with a dedicated iso screw-lock design, while the carbon-integrated Fighting Support Grip increases contact with the forearm for stable one-handed fighting. Additional features include Taftec Infinity high-strength solid-tip technology, Barrier Finish on sections #1 through #4, Hyper Non-Contact II textured coating on sections #2 through #4, X Rings for smooth line passage, titanium-frame SiC guides outside the X Guide positions, guide alignment marks on all sections and a knitted rod bag.
The lineup consists of three 5. 30 m telescopic models: 0-530 for highly delicate presentations and light leaders, 0.
6-530 for a balance of finesse and control, and the more powerful 1-530 for quickly lifting large chinu and demanding tournament or deeper-water situations.
