SKYHIGH Series Rods
The DAIWA SKYHIGH series is designed for anglers seeking precision, versatility, and long casting ability in both saltwater and freshwater environments. Built with high-density carbon blanks and reverse spigot joints, these rods combine lightness, strength, and durability, making them ideal for seabass, flatfish, black sea bream, and even light offshore species.
The SKYHIGH lineup ranges from short finesse models for urban canals and rivers to powerful long rods for surf and rocky shores. Slim blanks deliver smooth casting performance with excellent lure control, while the high carbon composition ensures sensitivity and resilience. Each model is fine-tuned to maximize the performance of minnows, sinking pencils, vibrations, and jigs.
Short versatile models such as 86ML, 86M, 90L, and 90ML are perfect for pinpoint casting in tight spots like canals, ports, and wading conditions, offering excellent handling with minnows and topwater plugs. Mid-length models like 96ML, 96M, and 96MH provide balance for rivers, estuaries, and surf fishing, delivering long casting ability and the power to handle larger plugs and jigs.
