Major Craft CROSTAGE Light Game Series

The Major Craft CROSTAGE Light Game Series is an exceptional lineup designed for anglers looking to master light saltwater fishing techniques. This third-generation series introduces rods that are perfectly suited for light game fishing, such as targeting species like black rockfish (mebaru) and horse mackerel (aji). It continues to evolve to meet the needs of anglers, with innovations that make it ideal for both traditional methods and newer trends like micro jigs.

Designed for Micro Jigs and Float Rigs

The CROSTAGE Light Game series is specifically engineered to handle both micro jigs and float rigs, making it versatile for targeting finicky species. One key feature is the rod's delicate tip, which is essential for detecting even the lightest bites from larger fish. This series is especially valuable during the spring season when large mebaru are more prevalent. For those who prefer to work the bottom with micro jigs, this rod provides the sensitivity and control needed to make precise casts and work lures efficiently in deeper waters.

Mebaru Tubular Models

The Mebaru Tubular models offer excellent versatility and sensitivity for light game enthusiasts. These rods are perfect for controlling small lures like minnows and sinking pencils, allowing for pinpoint accuracy. For anglers looking for an all-rounder, these rods are also compatible with jig heads, making them ideal for multiple techniques.

• CRX-T732L: With a length of 7'3", this model excels in pin-point targeting, making it ideal for tight spots between structures like boats or docks.
• CRX-T762L: This 7'6" rod offers high sensitivity for various light game techniques, including worm fishing, minnow retrieval, and micro jigs. It's a perfect choice for anglers who want to experience a wide range of fishing styles with one rod.
• CRX-T792L: Known for its long-casting capabilities, this 7'9" model is ideal for working shallow points or distant reefs. It works exceptionally well with float rigs and micro jigs, offering precise control even at extended distances.

Mebaru Solid Tip Models

The Solid Tip models in the CROSTAGE series are designed for situations where heightened sensitivity is required. These rods are particularly useful when fishing for smaller species in tight spaces like harbors or between boats. The solid tip ensures you don’t miss any subtle bites.

• CRX-S702UL: This is the lightest and most maneuverable rod in the series, offering excellent casting accuracy. It's perfect for small harbors and tight casting situations.
• CRX-S762UL: A more versatile rod, this model is ideal for general mebaru fishing, offering excellent sensitivity for jig head retrieval and a length that makes it perfect for both short and long casts.

Float Rig & Micro Jig Models

The Float Rig & Micro Jig specialized models are designed for long-distance casting, making them ideal for targeting large mebaru in offshore conditions. With the ability to cast heavier rigs and micro jigs, these rods are perfect for those looking to cover more water and target fish in deeper areas.

• CRX-T862M: This 8'6" rod excels in casting float rigs over long distances, especially useful when targeting large, offshore species.
• CRX-T902MH: At 9'0", this rod is designed for even heavier rigs, making it the go-to choice for blue-backed mebaru or when working heavier micro jigs in deeper waters.

Advanced Construction

All CROSTAGE rods incorporate Micro Pitch Cross Force technology, which reinforces the blank with fibers aligned in multiple directions. This design minimizes rod twist and enhances overall strength, making these rods highly durable while maintaining their lightweight feel. This advanced construction ensures that even when battling larger fish, the rod maintains its integrity and performance.

Versatility for Various Techniques

Whether you are looking to start with float rigs, micro jigs, or even more traditional mebaru and aji techniques, the CROSTAGE Light Game series offers options that cater to a variety of angling needs. The combination of sensitive tips, durable construction, and versatility makes this series a perfect fit for both beginners and experienced anglers. For those looking to target finicky species in challenging conditions, having a CROSTAGE rod in your arsenal is essential.
