The Daiwa DEEO SPS series is engineered for deep-water fishing where absolute rod control, high sensitivity and power transmission are essential. Designed for targeting bottom species and mid-deep range predators, the DEEO SPS rods combine lightweight handling with the strength required to work heavy rigs, metal jigs and specialized deep-drop systems.
At the core of the DEEO SPS series is Daiwa’s high-density carbon blank that maintains superb rigidity while minimizing unnecessary weight. This optimized blank structure delivers fast recovery response, allowing precise lure action even in deep currents. With enhanced sensitivity across the entire blank, subtle changes on the seabed—such as contact with structure or gentle bites—are transmitted clearly to the angler.
Equipped with a high-strength guide system and a reinforced reel seat, the rods support both spinning and baitcasting models depending on the angler’s technique. The bend curve has been carefully tuned to provide excellent lifting power from the butt section while maintaining smooth load distribution toward the tip, reducing angler fatigue during long deep-drop sessions.
The DEEO SPS series is ideal for metal jigging, inchiku, tenya, bait-rig deep drops and mid-deep zone fishing.
