EMERALDAS X

The DAIWA EMERALDAS X series offers excellent value for squid fishing beginners and intermediate anglers seeking quality and affordability. Designed specifically for eging, this rod provides a perfect balance of sensitivity, strength, and ease of use. Featuring HVF (High Volume Fiber) carbon blanks, it ensures a light and responsive feel while maintaining the durability needed to handle active squid.

The X45 construction enhances casting accuracy and minimizes rod twist during jerking motions, while the V-Joint structure provides smooth power transmission between sections, contributing to improved rod control and durability. With a well-designed action suited for manipulating egi in various conditions, EMERALDAS X supports effective squid fishing from piers, breakwaters, and rocky shores.

This series is a great introduction to the EMERALDAS brand, offering DAIWA’s trusted technology at a reasonable price point — ideal for those stepping into the world of eging with confidence and control.
