The DAIWA KYOKUEI HIRAME EX series is engineered for anglers targeting flounder and bottom-dwelling species with the highest level of sensitivity, bait control, and power. Designed specifically for live-bait flounder fishing and technical bottom-jig applications, these rods deliver an exceptional balance of responsiveness and strength.

The rod tip uses a highly sensitive SMT metal-alloy tip, enabling anglers to detect the smallest vibrations — from faint bait movements to subtle bottom contact. Lightweight AGS carbon-frame guides with N-rings reduce overall weight, minimize tip flutter, and greatly enhance bite transmission for more precise control.

The blank is constructed using SVF Nanoplus high-density carbon and reinforced with X45 technology, significantly reducing twisting while maintaining a slim, highly responsive profile. This allows precise lure manipulation while retaining strong lifting power for larger or unexpectedly aggressive fish.

Whether drifting live bait across sandy bottoms or working jigs near structure, the KYOKUEI HIRAME EX provides elite sensitivity, superior bait control, and dependable strength — a top-tier choice for serious bottom-fishing anglers.
