C74MH — Versatile Heavy Cranker
A long-length rod essential for situations requiring long casts with heavy lures, the C74MH is a versatile heavy cranker.
Inheriting the lineage of the 19BLX LG 741MHRB, the blank is built from medium-modulus carbon reinforced with ultra-high-modulus carbon in a specialized structure. The tapered butt, inspired by swimbait and big bait rod designs, is sharply ramped to increase the upper limit of usable lure weight.
This model handles deep-diving cranks (5–7m), magnum cranks, and 2oz-class big bait cranks with ease. The tip features a stiff “V-shaped” taper, dramatically improving sensitivity and control, while also enhancing performance with single-hook heavy wirebaits, swim jigs, and wacky/worm rigs—tasks that typical cranking rods struggle with.
During retrieves, the rod naturally allows slack-line retrievals without over-pulling the lure, avoiding snags while ensuring bites are set and hooked. An essential rod for big lake fishing, combining power, control, and versatility in one package.
