Built to dominate the world’s toughest bass tournaments. The TATULA ELITE series is designed and refined under the direct supervision of DAIWA’s top U.S. pros competing in the B.A.S.S. ELITE Series and MLF Bass Pro Tour. Each model embodies the personal preferences of its signature angler, while maintaining a versatile and accessible feel for all advanced bass fishermen. The blanks feature a striking gunmetal finish paired with gray EVA grips for a sharp, professional look, delivering both performance and style worthy of the global TATULA name.
The rods integrate DAIWA’s most advanced carbon and composite technologies: SVF NANOPLUS, combining ultra-dense carbon with Toray’s Nano Alloy Technology for reduced weight and increased power and sensitivity (used in the 731XHFB and 701MLFS); GLATECH CONSTRUCTION for glass-composite models that merge flexibility, resilience, and light swing weight (701MHRB-G); X45 bias wrap to suppress blank twist for pinpoint casting and crisp recovery; and the Air Sensor Seat, a carbon-fiber-reinforced reel seat offering ultra-light strength and heightened feel—blank-touch trigger on bait models, slim-fit on spinning. All Japanese domestic versions feature convenient two-piece butt joints for improved portability (except the 691MLRB, which is one-piece).
Each professional model reflects tournament-proven specialization:
691MLRB (Seth Feider Model) – Low-modulus carbon blank ideal for small topwater and jerkbaits, with a short grip for precise rod work and delicate control of light plugs.
721MHRB (Randy Howell Model) – Moving-bait specialist that combines flexibility and strength, perfect for spinnerbaits (1/4–1/2 oz), poppers, and pencils cast tight to cover.
731XHFB (Takahiro Omori Model) – SVF NANOPLUS + X45 construction for Texas rigs, jigs, and no-sinkers to heavy Carolina setups, delivering extreme sensitivity and lifting power.
701MHRB-G (Takahiro Omori Model) – Glass-composite all-rounder covering shallow cranks, lipless cranks, wire baits, bladed jigs, swimbaits, and deep cranks with rare 7:3 taper for both accuracy and hooking performance.
701MLFS (Cody Meyer Model) – Downsizing finesse rod tuned for deep-water drop-shots and structure, yet smooth-bending taper adapts to no-sinkers and lightweight plugs with excellent long-cast range.
Tournament-grade components, professional tuning, and DAIWA precision—TATULA ELITE represents the pinnacle of performance for serious bass anglers seeking the same trusted tools used by champions.
