Shimano Ocea Jigger Infinity Motive

Shimano Ocea Jigger Infinity Motive is a long-length slow jigging rod series developed for versatile jig action in advanced offshore situations such as targeting pelagic fish, mid-deep water species and tuna jigging. The renewed design combines easier handling, greater versatility and increased strength.

Its slow-taper blank bends deeply through the entire rod like a bow while retaining powerful response to lift and accelerate jigs. The bending fulcrum transitions smoothly toward the angler, reducing the fatigue and stress normally associated with long rods while allowing precise control of slow and fast presentations, fall actions, jig speed and target depth.

Spiral X Core reinforces the slim and lightweight blank against bending, twisting and crushing while reducing unwanted vibration. X Guide 3D Titanium uses lightweight, strong one-piece guide frames with calculated angles to reduce line trouble and short guide feet that minimize interference with the blank's natural bending curve.

The lightweight, hollow and rigid carbon rear grip provides high sensitivity for detecting bites, subtle current changes and bottom composition. The Full Holding Seat uses CI4+ material and a carefully shaped profile to support multiple gripping styles with a secure, comfortable fit and improved stability.

All seven models are 6'10" long, emphasizing extended fall action and the distinctive jig movement created by a long rod. The lineup ranges from the finesse-oriented B610-0 for 40-130 g jigs to the powerful B610-6 for 180-500 g jigs, covering nearshore applications, mid-deep water, large pelagic fish and super-deep situations.
