High-quality materials and construction give you the backbone needed to deal with stubborn bottom fish while preserving lightweight handling for long sessions.

This rod features a finely crafted tip and well-balanced backbone that together deliver sharp bite detection and smooth, controlled hook sets. Whether you are drifting live bait over sandy or muddy bottoms, or rigging soft-plastic baits or jigs near rocks and structure, the KYOKUEI HIRAME handles all with precision. With ergonomic reel seat design and well positioned guides for smooth line flow, this rod remains easy to use and comfortable, even in extended fishing trips. It’s a top choice for anglers who want a dependable, sensitive rod for bottom fishing, flounder, sea-bed species, and mixed inshore targets.
