The Daiwa SILVER WOLF EX is a flagship chining rod series built for anglers who demand razor-sharp sensitivity, instant response, and total lure control when targeting black sea bream around structure, sand flats, and tidal edges.
The blanks use SVF Compile-X Nano Plus carbon with reduced resin and dense graphite to transmit bottom texture and minute bites as if you were feeling them with your fingertips, while retaining the backbone required to punch hooks into tough mouths and turn powerful runs. Daiwa’s X45X Full Shield bias construction suppresses blank twist for straighter casting, crisp lure input, and stable fighting control, and V-Joint α at the ferrule delivers one-piece-like bending, easier recovery, and smooth load transfer during fights.
The rods are fitted with ultra-light AGS carbon frame guides that pass line signals directly to the blank for maximum sensitivity and quicker line recovery, and the ergonomic AIR SENSOR SEAT enhances hand contact and balance; baitcasting models feature a blank-touch trigger for direct feedback.
Tip technologies are tuned by model to match technique, with MEGA TOP solid tips providing overwhelming bite visibility on 76MLB-S and MEGA TOP R high-elastic carbon solid tips elevating reflex sensitivity on 72MLB-S, 80MB-S, and 72ML-S.
