Purpose-built for aggressive, hand-held yaen fishing, the DAIWA BATTLE GAME LBQD combines one-handed lever-brake control with Quick Drag, allowing the angler to manage a live horse mackerel's direction, depth and distance before deploying the yaen hook.

BATTLE GAME LBQD is a dedicated lever-brake reel for aggressive, hand-held yaen fishing for bigfin reef squid.

Every major choice - lever operation, 5.3 gearing, 90 mm double handle and LC-ABS spool - is designed to make live-bait direction, depth, line tension and high-load retrieval easier to manage with the rod continuously in hand.

A yaen reel built around one-handed control.

Lever-brake operation lets the angler move instantly between winding and controlled line release with one hand, an important advantage when steering a live horse mackerel through direction, depth and distance.

The 5.3 gear ratio provides powerful winding under the continuous load created by a large squid and also makes live-bait recovery easier. A symmetrical double handle remains balanced and reduces unwanted rotation and reverse wobble.

LC-ABS spool geometry works with the double handle to limit line drop and line trouble during rotor-free operation. Quick Drag allows large tension changes with limited knob rotation.
