DAIWA MORETHAN LBD

Created for technical seabass anglers, the DAIWA MORETHAN LBD combines an aluminium Quick On/Off Lever Brake with smooth reverse rotation, allowing precise line release during the fight and controlled lure presentation in current. Two retrieve profiles provide balanced or high-speed recovery.

MAGSEALED body and drive-bearing protection, ATD, ZAION construction, HYPER DIGIGEAR, an LBD-specific AIR ROTOR and titanium AIR BAIL support durability, light handling and refined rotation. A neoprene reel bag and adjustment washers are included.

MORETHAN LBD is a dedicated seabass lever-brake reel built around the concept: once hooked, bring it to hand.

Instant line release and stopping control, smooth reverse rotation and a rear-weighted balance give experienced anglers another way to guide fish, manage jumps and present a drifting lure naturally.

Flagship control for technical seabass fishing.

The Quick On/Off Lever Brake System responds directly to the operating finger: pull for off and push for on, coordinating line release, stopping and anti-reverse control through one aluminium lever.

MAGSEALED body protection and MAGSEALED ball bearings at both ends of the drive gear support durability and rotation. ATD provides supplementary smooth drag response, while ZAION construction and rear-weighted balance reduce perceived tip weight during line mending.

An LBD-specific AIR ROTOR, titanium AIR BAIL and One-Way Oscillation promote free reverse rotation for controlled drift presentations.

During rotor reversal, the oscillation drive is disengaged to minimize reel shake and improve free reverse performance, supporting smooth line delivery without giving the fish unnatural resistance.
