DAIWA MORETHAN PE TW

Developed specifically for PE-line seabass fishing, the DAIWA MORETHAN PE TW combines a compact, palmable profile with a fully aluminium housing for rigid, stable winding. Its 34 mm G1 duralumin spool and MAGFORCE-Z PE Long Distance Tune support controlled casting from conservative backlash-resistant settings to more aggressive long-distance performance.

TWS reduces line-guide resistance, while a MAGSEALED pinion bearing, ATD, Zero Adjuster and 100 mm aluminium crank handle provide dependable saltwater control from cast to landing. Available in SH and XH retrieve speeds with right- and left-hand configurations, the series is built for both shore and boat seabass applications.

MORETHAN PE TW is shaped around the particular demands of casting PE line for seabass, from open-shore long casts to precise presentations from a boat.

A compact body, a fully aluminium housing and a PE-specific braking system bring strength, casting range and control into one focused platform. The result reflects MORETHAN's principle: dedicated tackle reveals more of the fish, the lure and the water.

MORETHAN PE TW combines a palmable profile with an aluminium frame, handle-side plate and dial-side set plate, creating a highly rigid housing for stable winding under load.

The 34 mm G1 duralumin spool is tuned for PE 1.5-200 m and works with MAGFORCE-Z PE Long Distance Tune. Its braking profile supports both protective settings that resist backlash and more aggressive settings for extended flight late in the cast.

TWS reduces line-guide resistance during the cast, while a 100 mm aluminium crank handle and high-grip large I knobs provide leverage for resistant lures and strong fish.

Two retrieve speeds, right- and left-hand configurations

SH models retrieve 75 cm per crank at a 7.1 gear ratio, while XH models retrieve 91 cm at 8.6. Each speed is available in right- and left-hand form, with the same PE capacity, 100 mm handle and 6 kg maximum drag.

Important: Line capacity is approximate and may vary with line manufacturer, product and winding tension. Retrieve per crank indicates line taken up by one complete handle rotation.

The induct rotor responds to spool speed, applying stronger braking early and easing it later. This PE-specific tune is designed for accessible dial control, environmental stability and a cast that continues to extend through its final phase.

G1 Duralumin Spool

34 mm precision spool for PE 1.5-200 m

The lightweight G1 duralumin spool is designed for responsive startup and high rotational performance. It is compatible with the RCSB 1000-series spool standard.

TWS

Reduced resistance at the line guide

The T-Wing System opens the line path during the cast, reducing resistance where spool speed is highest. This supports distance, control, faster fall and reduced backlash.

MAGSEALED BALL BEARING

Protection at the salt-exposed pinion

DAIWA's magnetic-fluid barrier suppresses water and foreign-matter intrusion while retaining the bearing's rotational performance, helping reduce corrosion, salt seizure and abnormal noise.
