C65MH-FR — Advanced Frogging
An evolution of the 19BLX SG 671MHFB-FR, the C65MH-FR is a refined next-generation frog rod developed with the latest DAIWA rod technology. By shortening the length by 2 inches, it achieves improved handling and maneuverability, while still maintaining ample casting distance.
The carbon material has been upgraded from HVF Nanoplus to SVF, resulting in a higher-rebound, slimmer blank that enhances casting performance. The adoption of the “V-shaped” (へ-shaped) taper in the tip section ensures smooth casting, soft and precise lure presentation, and increased sensitivity, while also improving the rod’s wriggling and worming versatility.
Alongside its counterpart, the C63MH-FR, this model delivers quiet and nimble performance, reducing PE line slicing noise and creating a lively, seductive frog action even with small motions. It provides a clear advantage in today’s high-pressure frogging conditions, where subtlety and control are key.
Both frog models are equipped with MNST tops and LDB guides designed specifically for PE line, minimizing troubles such as line tangles. Despite its slim profile, the C65MH-FR offers surprising power, casting performance, and sensitivity, taking frog fishing into an entirely new realm of precision and control.
