C66ML-LM — Backhand Accuracy & Slack-Line Retriever
This is the only LM (Low Modulus) model in the 25BLX series, designed entirely with low-modulus carbon fibers along the rod’s longitudinal axis, focusing on cranking performance.
At 66 inches, the rod combines a long tip section for ample bend and a robust butt, creating a regular fast taper with pronounced flex progression. This design allows both accuracy and long-distance casts without needing to overbend the rod, even when switching to lightweight cranks like balsa-style lures. Simply flicking the wrist is enough to generate low-trajectory casts with proper lure weight.
The tip employs a “V-shaped taper”, giving a long bending range while transmitting the angler’s intent directly to the lure. This results in exceptional casting accuracy and a soft presentation that minimizes splash on landing.
The rod also excels in side-hand or back-hand casts, allowing precise targeting from virtually any angle. During retrieval, the V-shaped tip “dances”, automatically producing slack-line retrievals.
From the belly to the butt, the rod exhibits rapidly rising, robust butt power, giving it versatility to handle both lightweight and heavy lures with ease.
