Inheriting the lineage of the 19BLX LG 731ML+FB, the blank is constructed from medium-modulus carbon and reinforced with ultra-high-modulus carbon in a specialized structure, dramatically improving casting distance, reel-in sensitivity, and versatility with hardbaits.
The “V-shaped” taper allows for high sensitivity immediately after long casts and enables slack-line retrievals. The tip remains stiff while the blank begins bending just behind it, allowing slack to be maintained during cranking while increasing reel-in sensitivity.
Even subtle resistance on the line—before a lure gets stuck on rocks or other structure—can be detected, transmitting touch even through soft weeds and grass that are typically hard to feel. The rod conveys the faint vibrations of wirebaits with narrow-bladed props, enabling controlled slack-line retrieves.
