KYOKUEI AKAMUTSU 極鋭 rosy seabass Series Fishing Rod
The KYOKUEI AKAMUTSU series is a purpose‑built boat rod engineered for aggressive deep water fishing of blackthroat seaperch (akamutsu), blending exceptional sensitivity with robust hooking power and precise control. Designed around real fishing demands, this rod delivers clear visual bite detection even in rough current conditions by combining advanced technologies in blank construction and guide systems. Its tip features SMT (SuperMetalTop) — a super‑elastic titanium alloy tip that amplifies subtle underwater vibrations beyond the capabilities of traditional carbon tips, giving anglers both tactile feel and visual feedback for even the faintest signals. The rod also incorporates AGS (Air Guide System) carbon frame guides which transmit micro line vibrations directly to the blank without energy loss, significantly enhancing sensitivity and reducing overall weight. ESS (Expert Sense Simulation) engineering optimizes blank strain energy to offer refined action and smooth recovery throughout the rod’s bend, translating into improved bait control and hook‑set performance. X45 carbon reinforcement prevents unwanted blank twist during casting, jigging, and hooking, improving power transfer, stability, and control — especially when setting hooks in strong current or deep water.
The KYOKUEI AKAMUTSU rod is balanced for fast, responsive hook sets with enough backbone to drive the hook securely into the upper jaw of akamutsu. The ZERO_SEAT ergonomic reel seat offers a nearly invisible grip feel that reduces angler fatigue during long trips and enhances connection with the blank. Multiple models allow anglers to tailor their setup to conditions — the M‑205 is a sensitive all‑around model suited for lead weights of 80‑180, while the MH‑205 provides added power for heavier weights of 120‑250 and more demanding situations. Both variants include EVA grips and a front grip for secure handling under load, plus a rod belt and protective rod bag for convenient storage and transportation.
