LUXXE EG X ULTIMATE Series Rod
The LUXXE EG X ULTIMATE series represents the highest level of sensitivity-focused eging rod development in the Gamakatsu LUXXE lineup. Designed specifically for technical squid fishing, this flagship series pushes lightweight construction and underwater signal transmission to an extreme level rarely achieved in modern eging rods.
Built with TORAYCA M40X high-modulus carbon material, the blank achieves extraordinary rigidity, responsiveness, and weight reduction while maintaining sufficient strength for aggressive casting, jerking, and fighting large squid. The result is an incredibly sharp and direct fishing feel.
One of the defining characteristics of the EG X ULTIMATE series is its exceptional “resonance sensitivity.” The rod is engineered to clearly transmit underwater information such as bottom composition, current changes, squid touch pressure, and lure movement directly into the angler’s hand.
