The Shimano Realancer Maruika is a specialized boat rod series developed for the highly technical and constantly changing demands of Maruika fishing. The lineup combines highly sensitive carbon solid tips with lightweight blanks reinforced by Spiral X Core, helping transmit angler input accurately and detect the subtle touches and bites of squid.

The X Seat Front Trigger improves palming, rod control and reel support during rapid tapping, sudden stops, rig retrieval and repeated drops, while also helping reduce fatigue during active fishing. Three specialized actions cover different techniques and depths.

The 73 145 uses a sensitive 7:3 action suited to shallow water and suspended presentations, with versatility for light Yariika and metal-sutte fishing. The 82 SS155 features an extremely supple TAFTEC Alpha tip designed to visually express subtle touches during zero-tension fishing.

The 82 S160 combines a flexible TAFTEC tip with a firm midsection and butt for deep water and fast, aggressive zero-tension techniques. CI4+ components further contribute to lightweight, high-strength construction.
