The SABER MASTER XTUNE TENYA is Shimano’s flagship rod for targeting hairtail (saberfish) with the tenya method. This rod is engineered to deliver exceptional sensitivity, hooking performance, and precise control. By using Spiral X Core construction, the blank offers outstanding strength and torsional rigidity while remaining light and responsive, allowing you to detect subtle bites and set hooks reliably.

Equipped with Shimano’s X Guide system, the rod minimizes line trouble and maximizes casting distance and accuracy. The high-response glass solid tip transmits delicate bites directly to your hand, while the powerful butt section provides the backbone needed to handle big fish with confidence. Its lightweight CI4+ reel seat and carbon monocoque grip further boost sensitivity and reduce fatigue during long fishing sessions.

Whether you’re fishing from a boat for deep hairtail or working around structures, the SABER MASTER XTUNE TENYA gives serious anglers the advantage they need for consistent success. Experience the ultimate in tenya-style fishing with Shimano’s top-level rod technology.
