Shimano Trout One AS

Shimano Trout One AS is a versatile area trout rod series designed for managed trout fisheries throughout Japan. The blanks feature Hi-Power X reinforcement to suppress twisting during casting and fighting, reducing tip shake and power loss while improving lure control.

Shimano's Softube Top combines the light weight and sensitivity of a tubular tip with enhanced flexibility, helping the rod respond to subtle short bites without sacrificing lure operability. The blanks are designed with both firmness and progressive bending characteristics, providing accurate casting, responsive lure manipulation and sufficient power for larger trout.

The lineup covers a broad range of techniques and lure types, including spoons, crankbaits and minnows. Spinning models use the lightweight and sensitive Airfect Seat CI4+, while baitcasting models feature the Perfection Seat XT.

Seven models range from the soft S60XUL for lightweight spoons and micro crankbaits to the long and powerful B66L for heavier spoons, larger plugs and targeting large trout in expansive areas.

Shimano Trout One AS
