The Saegake’s defining feature — its slim yet thick-walled tubular Power Slim blank — makes a return, along with the fast “hooking action” that had disappeared from recent Heartland models.

The blank material uses HVF Nanoplus, and for the first time in the Saegake lineage, incorporates X45 and 3DX structural reinforcements. These suppress twisting and power loss while greatly increasing rebound speed when the rod bends, resulting in faster swing speed and crisper response.

The finished rod has a distinctly different feel from the original Saegake, achieving a rare balance of supple flexibility and firm strength — a perfect harmony of softness and power.
