The tip section of the Loopas 66RS is sensitive and flexible, allowing for a smooth bend that enhances the freedom of lure movement during retrieve, capturing even the slightest nibbles effectively. In contrast, the belly section is finely tuned for sharpness and firmness, enabling secure hooksets, especially with high-resistance lures like crankbaits where input is difficult to transmit. With a length of 6.6 feet, this rod is easy to line mend, and among the retrieve-type models, it has the strongest butt power, allowing anglers to maintain control even when handling larger fish. Recommended Lures The 66RS is suitable for crankbaits and relatively heavy spoons (3g and above) used in standard retrieve fishing with high-resistance lures. The sensitive tip closely follows the varied movements of crankbaits of different shapes and sizes, preserving the lure’s intended action.
