As a result, it enhances the action of jigs and plugs without compromising their movement, makes system knots easier to tie, and provides stable, high knot strength across various types of knots while reducing the risk of bending or breaking under stress.
Compared to nylon, fluorocarbon has a refractive index closer to that of water, making it less likely to reflect sunlight underwater and therefore less likely to spook the target fish.
