DENIOS Series Rod

The Gamakatsu DENIOS Series is a premium Japanese ISO fishing rod designed to combine the traditional smooth bending characteristics of body-action rods with the fast operational control of tip-action models.

Developed through extensive field testing and advanced carbon engineering, the DENIOS introduces a completely new concept known as “light tip body action,” delivering superior balance, flexibility, sensitivity, and fish fighting performance.

The blank utilizes advanced TORAYCA T1100G high strength carbon material, allowing the rod to maintain excellent rigidity while significantly reducing overall weight and tip heaviness.

A key feature of the rod is the lightweight CIM carbon resin guide system installed on the top section. This advanced guide structure improves rigidity while minimizing front-end weight, resulting in faster response, smoother handling, and reduced angler fatigue during long fishing sessions.

Unlike traditional heavy body-action rods, the DENIOS maintains a highly responsive and lightweight tip feel while preserving deep bending power and exceptional lifting strength.

The rod is engineered with a slim yet thick wall blank design that creates outstanding flexibility and shock absorption during powerful fish fights. When under load, the blank bends smoothly in a continuous curve similar to a one-piece rod.

The rod also incorporates the Super ASD (Active Suspension Design) structure which improves joint smoothness and power transfer between sections. This creates seamless bending performance while reducing stress concentration during aggressive fish runs.

A screw-type reel seat with integrated rubber grip construction provides secure reel fixation and excellent handling comfort under wet saltwater conditions.

The DENIOS Series is ideal for technical ISO fishing applications targeting blacktail, sea bream, and other powerful rocky shore species requiring precise float control and advanced fish handling performance.

Its unique balance of flexibility, lightweight operation, and lifting power makes it suitable for tournament anglers and experienced shore fishing enthusiasts.

Built with advanced Japanese craftsmanship and modern carbon technology, the DENIOS delivers exceptional sensitivity, casting precision, and reliable fish fighting control.
